En dat klopt, laatste is Hallescher FC, ook bekend van de hotelbrand in Eindhoven.

‘De Boeren’ from Eindhoven enjoyed their second UEFA Cup appearance during the 1997/78 edition. PSV had managed to qualify to join the 1971/72 UEFA Cup elite before, sadly marked by a tragic event, involving their Eastern German opponents Chemie Halle.
The modest team from Saxony-Anhalt, Eastern Germany, having been paired with PSV in the opening round, managed a scoreless draw at their Kurt Waller Stadion but cruelly enough there would be no second leg.
In the early hours of 28 September 1971, 11 people were killed and 19 were injured when a fire engulfed the hotel ‘t Silveren Seepaerd’ right opposite the main railway station. Chemie Halle were staying the night here before the return tie against PSV.
With no designated fire exits and no alarm systems in place, tragedy unfolded with trapped hotel guests jumping from their windows on the upper floors into tied bed sheets, held out by rescuers on the lower kitchen roof. In the process, Chemie Halle’s Erhard Mosert badly broke his leg. International Klaus Urbanczyk suffered terrible injuries from broken glass and was rushed to hospital where he had part of his right leg amputated.
Young Wolfgang Hoffmann also missed the target, crashing through a skylight and suffering a fatal impact when landing on the kitchen floor below. Needless to say, Chemie Halle instantly withdrew from the competition.
